We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Social Media and E-commerce Assistant.

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media and E-commerce Assistant to support our dynamic team at our Nairobi, Westlands office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility, engaging with our audience on social media platforms, and assisting with various e-commerce tasks to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in managing and optimizing our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
– Create and curate engaging content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content.
– Monitor social media platforms for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and professionally.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns and strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms.
– Support the maintenance and update of product listings, descriptions, and images on our e-commerce website.
– Assist with customer inquiries, order processing, and fulfillment to ensure a seamless e-commerce experience for our customers.
– Monitor e-commerce performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce & WordPress is a plus.
– Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is desirable.
– Passion for technology, innovation, and staying abreast of industry trends.
